Seneca
At first blush Seneca appears to be a handy neighbor to have - major shopping, health care, and services can be found in this town, conveniently located near Lake Keowee. But just as one can't judge a book by its cover, Seneca offers a bevy of delightful surprises behind its utilitarian exterior. Delve a little deeper into Seneca to discover its charming Historic Downtown area, as well as the beguiling boutiques and fine dining options on Ram Cat Alley, located just off Main Street. Seneca is also a fast growing haven for the arts, with the "Arts on the Alley" art festival held every Spring, along with an increasing number of concerts held on the public green. Historical homes such as The Ballenger House offer tours, as do the Lunney Museum and the Blue Ridge Arts Council. Seneca is, in fact, a perfect neighbor, for both practical purposes and cultural pursuits.
