Amenities Summary:

Lodge and Spa – America’s first luxury family wellness retreat promises world-class facilities and unsurpassed service. The 53,000 square foot Wellness Centre will include a running track, fitness area, indoor spa treatment areas, and private outdoor spa treatment areas, weight-lifting and cardio areas, served by luxurious locker rooms and meeting spaces. Opening 2012-2014.

Managed Trail System – Hike or bike the woodlands and valleys that embellish the Cliffs at Keowee Springs; overlooks and picnic areas offer an excuse to relax along the way.

Beach Club – Anchored by a captivating pavilion, the two water recreation areas that comprise the Beach Club will include a family pool with water slide, water spouts and beach and a lap pool for exercise classes and adult lap swimming. Opening in 2010 (now under construction).

Golf – The scenic beauty of the Cliffs at Keowee Springs has provided a perfect canvas for the creative talent of course designer Tom Fazio. Here, he illustrates his award-winning genius with a design that returns to the The Turn House at every six holes. The course offers a family tee (the perfect introduction to this marvelous game for children or for the neophyte), but also boasts a championship back tee to challenge even the most experienced of players. In fact, there are several tees to choose from so you can play the same course from a variety of lengths. The Springs golf course has broad fairways and generous greens – but don’t be fooled by the size of the Springs’ greens – they’re devilishly contoured and undulating. Three putts can be quite common as these greens look much easier than they are.

Since opening two years ago, Keowee Springs golf course has consistently been in the best condition of any of The Cliffs golf courses. The greens tend to be fast and are some of the truest putting surfaces at The Cliffs. Another nice feature of The Springs is its walk-ability. The topography is fairly level and the distances between greens and tees is short – so walking is a pure delight on this course. You can walk 6 holes out and 6 holes in if you don’t have the time to play 18 holes. The Turn house is located at the junction of holes 6 and 12 which makes stopping for snack or beverage very convenient.

The International Institute of Golf - Recreational and professional players alike will benefit from the legendary instruction of Steve Bann and Dale Lynch (whose previous students include leading tour professionals Stuart Appleby, Geoff Ogilvy, Aaron Baddeley, Matthew Goggin, KJ Choi and Robert Allenby). Employing computer, video and motion analysis technology, this indoor/outdoor training facility will enhance your game, health and golfing pleasure. This center is now operational.

Marina - Located on one of the most beautiful and pristine lakes in the south-east, the Cliffs at Keowee Springs will offer a full-service marina to ensure boaters full access to the many joys of the water. Storage and launching will give you the opportunity to enjoy a full day on the Lake – from sunup to sundown. Explore 18,500 spring-fed acres of cliffs, waterfalls, deserted islands ringed with beaches and quiet, fish-filled inlets. Thrill to the exhilaration of tubing, skiing or wakeboarding, or simply drift the day away with a picnic and some friends. Opening in 2012)

Clubhouse – Still in the design phase, Keowee Springs Clubhouse will include formal, casual and private dining, locker room and lounge facilities, a bar, and a professional shop. The location is overlooking the 18th green and fairway. Estimated completion date – 2013.
