Golf - A masterpiece of natural beauty, the 1999 Tom Fazio designed The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards® course was hailed by Golf Digest as the “7th Best Private Course in the Nation.” Signature Hole 17 was ranked as the toughest hole on the Nationwide Tour in 2005, but as Fazio himself said, "This hole may be the most picturesque in the state of South Carolina–and some people will say it's the most picturesque ever."
Equestrian Center - The Cliffs® Equestrian Center features a state of the art ten stall barn nestled up against the 40,000 acre protected Jocassee Gorges. The post and beam style of the barn lends it a warm, cozy atmosphere while not diminishing the magnificence of the structure. Discriminating horse owners will note the vaulted interior, allowing for superior ventilation, as well as the ceiling fans above each 12 x 12 rubber matted stall. Automatic waterers keep water warm in winter and nourish horses with an ever fresh supply of water. Each stall has a dutch door to the back, allowing horses to take in the fresh air and watch the activity around the barn.
