Shawn is a native of Southern California and retired from Los Angeles County Fire Department after 27 years of service. He was also busy as a real estate agent where he lived in Murrieta, California, specializing in golf course and ranch properties. After Shawn’s son, Brent, relocated to work for Greenville Fire Department, Shawn and his wife began spending more and more time in the Upstate and felt it was a great fit for them. Shawn and his wife, DeeDee, retired to The Cliffs at Glassy in 2018.

Shawn is an avid golfer and also enjoys many of the other amenities The Cliffs has to offer. The Glassy community has been especially welcoming and Shawn and DeeDee have made many wonderful friends there. Utilizing his knowledge of The Cliffs and other local golf course communities, Shawn decided to resume his real estate career and become a realtor in South Carolina to show others what a fulfilling life they can have in the Upstate.
